Presidential Office is responsible for maintaining an educational program consistent with the stated purposes of the University. 

Dr. Yuhlong Oliver Su is the 6th & 7th President of National Chi Nan University and a professor of applied chemistry. His previous tenure was Vice President at National Chung Hsing University from 2009 to 2011.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University, holds a master’s degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan Normal University, and completed his Ph.D. from Ohio State University before working as a research associate at Princeton University.

He specializes in electroanalytical chemistry and porphyrin chemistry. From 2009 to 2018, he published 28 articles in reputed journals, garnering accolades such as the Research Award by the National Science Council, Special Outstanding Talent Award by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Special Outstanding Talent Award by the Ministry of Education.
